Tell Me Some Stories about Morrigan

Sometimes when I’m working on a piece and want to get out of my own head, I’ll open up a question on Twitter on some subject. This usually yields great stuff, but it’s stuck in 140 characters and it can be hard to find the answers later. So I’m gonna start doing it here instead. Feel free to respond on Twitter if you prefer, but the space is here if you want to go longer.
Here’s the question for today: if you played Dragon Age: Origins, what was your story with Morrigan? What kind of relationship did your Warden have with her, and how did it progress over time from first impressions to final moments? What do you see Morrigan’s story arc as being, from the perspective of your game? I want stories from people who loved the game as well as those who hated or were indifferent to it, and stories from people who didn’t see Morrigan as an important part of their game as well as those who did. How’d it go down for you?
